Barbara K as we know her was born on February 5, 1954, to Howard London & Jeanette Ellerbe Fox of Sanford NC, located in Lee County. The Fox Family of Sanford with five brothers and six sisters. She was a faithful and committed member for many years under the leadership of Apostle Matthews. The placed that she loved. Barbara K The Family’s Abigail was a woman of understanding, kindness, and loveliness. She had a way about her that no one could miss, Barbara was the Abigail, like the woman of 1st Samuel 25. Even in her childhood, out of all her sister’s she was the prettiest of them all. Always, quietly walking around checking us out to see what we were doing so that she could join in or include us into the activity. Barbara loved birthday parties, play-out door’s activities, running, playing softball, fishing, “Throwing rocks at people, she was known as the party person. She loved. The birth of her children Rodney & Brian was so special to her, and she would not let any of us forget them either. She beamed at the remembrance of each event about their birth. She was known for her mac&cheese for the family reunion (the best mac&chesse). She leaves to cherish her memory her children Rodney Fox (Katrina) and Brian Chambers. Grandchildren: Jaylen Fox, Jordan Fox, Jevon Fox, Ellius Chambers, Sierra Chambers, Zamila Chambers and great-grandchild, Leiya Fox. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Fox and Jeanette Ellerbe Fox, her brother Keith Fox, and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Chambers. She is survived by her siblings: Preston Fox, Cora McIver, Paulette Moore, Ronald Fox (Cissy), Glenn Fox, Karen Petty (Bruce), Myrtle Williams, Sharon Stapleton, Gregory Fox, and Ellen Fox. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives to cherish her memory
