Oneida McNeill Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Our adorned Oneida Arvis Marsh was born in Long Island New York on the Grande holiday July 10, 1970, to the late Larry Thomas Lawrence and Josephine Marsh. She peacefully passed away on August 1, 2021, surrounded by loved ones after living a full, rich, and beautiful life. After Oneida graduated from Ballou High School in 1988, she developed many skills through various positions that led her to 20-year career in the Federal Government with the United States Postal Service. She was passionate about educating and improving herself leading into entrepreneurship. In 1994 she met and married her best friend; the love of her life, Tony Bernard McNeill, together they raised their five children Michael Borden II, Ashley Pemberton (Tyrrell), Courtney Borden, Juanique McNeill, and Tony McNeill Jr. When Oneida had Michael, she decided to dedicate her life to motherhood. Becoming a fantastic and ambitious mother was one of her greatest life’s purpose. Oneida excelled at connecting her siblings and supporting them through the many challenges and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was providing them with a place to stay, a meal, or guidance, she made it her mission to ensure that her family knew each other and spent time together. Her family lovingly referred to her as “Give”. She was and will forever be the glue. Oneida was an ardent candle maker and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found spending time with family and friends. She will greatly be missed. Oneida was predeceased by her sister Vanessa Marsh and grandson Jiraya McNeill. She is survived by six grandchildren, Jaiden A. Borden, Camrin Z.B. Pemberton, Messiah J. Blackston, Kaizer N.B. Pemberton, Tony B. McNeill III, Noelle M. Starling, and a host of siblings, nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins, In-laws and loving friends. Onieda was blessed to be included into the loving families the of the Parks, Marsh, Horton, Milliken-Lewis and Borden.
