Steve Curtis Davis, son of the late Henry Lee and Naomi Davis was born November 16, 1957, and departed this life January 21, 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton. NC. He graduated from Orrum High School in 1976, and enlisted in the Military (Army Infantry). He served for thirteen years before retiring with a disabled discharge. He worked at Maultsby/Colvin Funeral Home as a Funeral Attendant for many years. Steve was a loving a caring husband. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was Family oriented and loved his family dearly. He would help anyone who needed his help, He was a number one “UNC Tarheel Fan”. Preceded him in death was his parents, Henry Lee and Naomi Davis, two brothers: Robert (Ricky) Davis, James Thompson Davis, one sister, Alice Pearl Buchanan. He is survived by his wife, Jean of forty-five (45) years, two sons: Jerome (Vanessa) Davis, Steven (Tabatha) Davis, one daughter, Renee Davis, all of Lumberton NC, one sister, Mary (James) Robinson, two brothers; Gary (Faye) Davis, Stan Davis, one sister in law Ernestine Meekins (Sam) ten grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren, two very special nephews, Wayne Robinson and Octavius Singletary, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
