Mrs. Teresa Ann Lewis

Teresa Ann Lewis daughter of the late Ronnie H. McMillan and Sylvia Melvin June 15, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York. She departed this life Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Bladen County. Teresa was raised by her mother and stepfather; John E. Clark She grew up in the Bronx and later moved to Lumberton, NC where she met and married her soulmate, Willie Lewis in 1994. She graduated from Robeson Community College. She worked at Gerber’s Manufacturing Co. for many years, Southeastern Regional Medical Center, and Carolina Infectious Disease until her death. Her hobbies includes; cooking, shopping, going to the beach and spending quality time with her family. She occasionally attended Floyd Temple #1 Church. Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie McMillan, stepfather, John E. Clark, mother-in law, Angeline Poole, father-in-law, Willie Lewis and uncle, William Melvin and several greats and great uncles. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband of (27) years, Willie Lewis of the home, mother, Sylvia Clark, St. Pauls, NC, two stepchildren; LaShonda Purdie, St. Pauls, NC, and Derrick Muse, Charlotte, NC., grandson, Jahmeir (Jay) Blue, St. Pauls, NC, three brothers; Shawn McNeil (Shonteron), St. Pauls, NC, Ronnie McMillan, Jr., St. Pauls, NC, and Donnie McMillan, Bronx, NY, one sister; Deidra McMillan-Blades (Dexter), Tar Heel, NC, grandmother, Lillie Mae Melvin, Lumberton, NC, aunt, Ida Melvin, Lumberton, NC, two uncles; Earl Melvin (Gloria), St. Pauls, NC and Lawrence McMillan (Bertha), Brooklyn, NY, five sisters-inlaw, Patricia Lewis, Tar Heel, NC, Cassandra Lewis, Lumberton, NC, Jessica Murphy (Nesto), Atlanta, GA, Shonteron McNeil, St. Pauls, one brotherinlaw , Dexter Blades, two godchildren; TaaLiyah Thompson and A’Mia Gore and a special nephew, Dion Leak, Special cousin, Katrina Townsend, special friend - Cindy McKinnon, extended Clark family she gained from her stepfather, a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
