Trya Teresa McRae, better known as “T-Baby” daughter of Dorothy Mae McRae and the late Lonnie McRae, Jr., was born January 26, 1970 in Robeson County. She entered this life, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at her home surrounded with her family by her side. She attended the public schools of Robeson County and graduated from West Robeson High School. After graduation, she attended Robeson Community College in the Nursing program, where she received her CNA Certificate as a Nursing Assistance. With her love of caring, she worked for many Nursing facilities before moving to District Heights, Maryland. After moving to Maryland, she continue her work in the nursing field by working in several facilities. She attended Holy Swamp Baptist Church. Teresa was a loving and dedicated mother and she treasured every moment with her family. She loved to talk junk to her many friends. She enjoyed talking, dancing and spending money. She enjoyed eating seafood. Her favorite color was purple, which she wore alot and her favorite sports team was Carolina Tar Heels. Preceding her in death was her father, Lonnie McRae, Jr., grandparents, Earnest and Nettie Liles, and Lillie Mae McRae, several uncles; Earnest Liles, Jr, Grayland Liles, Alexander Caple, Mike Jones and Rev. Mitchell Ingram, one aunt; Minnie McRae. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her mother, Dorothy Mae McRae, one daughter; ShaKisha McRae, two sons; Mitchell Hill II, and Antonio Parker, Mitchell Hill (Father of the Children), stepdaughter; Janea Washington, two grandchildren; Kharron Love, Giselle Washington and Messiah Leslie Andrew Hill, devoting and loving brother, Kenneth McRae, other brothers; Donnell (Annie) Liles, Dean (Fonda) Liles, Lee McRae, and Charles Leach, one sister; Sandra McRae, goddaughter, Ja’Noviah Kyla Nyomi Purdie, special friend James Dewitt, a close cousin like a sister, Stephanie Caple, several aunts, uncles, a host of nephews, devoting cousins and many friends She was strong and fought a tough battle that seemed impossible for the strongest soldier to defeat.
