“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” Willie McLean, Jr., the son of the late Willie and Mary McLean as born February 2, 1944. He departed this life February 26, 2021 at Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He graduated from Hilly Branch Schools and Robeson Community College, Lumberton, NC. He served in Vietnam as a Chemical Operation Specialist aboard the USS Pope Ship. He was a Disabled American Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He started McLean’s Income Tax and Bookkeeping Service. He joined Holy Swamp Baptist Church, Lumberton, NC at an early age and later joined St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center, Red Springs, NC. He leaves to cherish his loving memories three children: Dwayne Moore, Pembroke, North Carolina, DeJenette Hill, Brooklyn, New York and Lattisha Royal, Anniston, Alabama, ten grandchildren; Tony Graham, Britney Walker, Amauri Royal, Quinton Royal, Shakeca Faison, Joshua Moore, Carlisha Motley, Jeshaiah Moore, Quindarioud Royal and Kenises Hill, fourteen great-grandchildren, three sisters; Bernice Montague, Egg Harbor Town and Betty Brockington, Laurinburg, NC, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and a special brother/friend Harold Robinson. Professional Serviced are entrusted to Colvin Funeral Home, Lumberton, NC.
