Mr. Jerry Franklin Faulk

CSM (Ret) Elder Jerry Franklin Faulk, was born to the late Deacon James Lee Faulk and Mrs. Minnie Lee Faulk on May 11, 1964 in Loris, South Carolina. At the age of 56 he peacefully departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham North Carolina. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Rona Missionary Baptist Church, Loris, South Carolina where he remained a faithful member until leaving home to join the United States Military. At the time of his transition he was a dedicated member of Kingdom Impact Global Ministries, Fayetteville, North Carolina where he served as an ordained Elder, Care Net Ministry Leader, Men’s Ministry and Sunday School Teacher. A native of Loris, South Carolina, he was a graduate of the Loris High School class of 1982. He went on to honorably serve in the United States Army and later earned an Associate and Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College. During his military career he successfully led soldiers at the Company, Battalion and Brigade levels. He culminated his 32 year career as the Garrison Command Sergeant Major, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After his retirement in 2014, he joined the Hope Mills Walmart Team and continued his service to the community for six years as the Auto Care Manager. He touched lives everywhere he went, to know him was to love him…simply the epitome of a servant of God, his favorite saying was, “That’s Too Easy.” On May 19, 1991 Elder Jerry married the love of his life, Sandie Michelle Wells and to this union they shared the joy of two sons, Brandon Alexander and Jaleel Franklin. Elder Jerry leaves to cherish his precious memories: his beloved wife of 29 years, Elder Sandie Wells Faulk; two sons, Brandon Alexander Wells (Brittany) of Fayetteville, NC and Jaleel Franklin Faulk of Marietta, GA; a loving mother, Mrs. Minnie Lee Faulk of Loris, SC; eight grandchildren, Keynote, Keyan, Brendasia, Kaden, Brandon Jr., Bralyn, Kemani and Kashton; five siblings, Ivey J Sarvis of Savannah, GA, Danny Lee Faulk of Loris, SC, Mary E Pertell (Charles) of Loris, SC, Gary C Faulk (Bernice) of Conway, SC and Regina M Faulk of Conway, SC; One aunt, Sheby J. Faulk of Loris, SC; three uncles, Luther J. Faulk (Elizabeth) of Turbeville, SC, William Faulk of St Paul, MN and Jonathan Faulk (Nellie) of Bucksport SC; other survivors include a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
