Mrs. Lula Pearl Cabble

Lula Pearl Cable was born September 30, 1939, to the late Luvenia Parks Williams in Hope Hull, Alabama. She peacefully departed this life surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and entered into the "shelter of the Most High" (Psalm 91) Pearls was educated in the public schools of Montgomery, Alabama where she graduated from George Washington carver High School. She joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in the 1980's under the leadership of Pastor Berry B. Irby and served faithfully in numerous capacities over the years: Mission Group #3 (Nursing Home), New Members Program Leader, Mission Group #4 (World Missions), Mission Group 312 (Military Support), Couples Ministry and the Carl E. Brinkley, Jr. Mass Choir. She was employed with the Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) for 10 years and afterwards served 21 years as a prime-Time Site Dire tor for the Cumberland County School System. Pearls was affectionately known by many as "Miss Pearl", "Momma Pearl", and "Girlfriend". Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so affectionately called her "Darlin". She filled in the gap as a "ram in the bush" for her son-in-law, in the absence of his mother. her husband and children call her BLESSED, for many daughters have done virtuously, but she surpasses them ll... truly the embodiment of a Virtuous Woman (Proverbs 31:10-31) Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Green Love and Luvenia Parks Williams, her sister, Elnora Stovall and her daughter, Deidre Johnson. Leaving to celebrate her homegoing are, her loving husband, Earl Cabble, daughters, Elaine (Robert) Coleman of Fayetteville, NC, Debra (Robert) Sellers of Fort Deposit, AL and Yvette (Cas) Green of Atlanta, GA; son Michael (Deborah) Edwards of Pittsburgh, PA; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Addie Rese of Montgomery, AL; five sisters-in-law, Lucille Cabble of Monroe, NC, Ellen Cabble of Dothan, AL, Juanita Alexander of Chesterland, Ohio; Lola (Jerome) Williams of Montgomery, AL and Barbara Cabble of Montgomery, AL; four brothers-in-law, Earnest (Willease) Cabble of Burkeville, AL, Robert Cabble of Montgomery, AL, Bernard (Jessie) Timmons of Fayetteville, NC and Frank (Gayle) Moneyham of Middleton, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted daughters and special friends.
