Ms. Marcia Lord

On November 25, 2024, Marcia Nestor Victor transitioned to eternity. Today we honor and celebrate her life. She was and still is dearly loved and her presence will be missed. Marcia was born March 8, 1963, in the village of Dudmar, St. David's Grenada to John Victor (deceased) and Sylvia (Louie) Victor. She was the eighth child of ten children. At the age of five, she attended the St. Theresa's Roman Catholic School at Vincennes. At the age of thirteen she began attending the St. David's Secondary School in Grenada. She completed her education with five subjects in the General Certificate of Education from the University of Cambridge, London, England in 1981. After leaving school, she worked at the Grenada Immigration Department for about two years. Then she married her high school sweetheart Cosmos (Ken) Williamson on December 26, 1983, and immigrated to the United States in April of 1984. From their union they had five children: Craig, Melissa, Kevin, Kristee, and David Williamson. In August of 1992, she accompanied her husband, Cosmos Williamson on his tour of duty to Germany. Marcia had a passion for providing care to infants and toddlers. Driven by this passion in 1995, she started her own home childcare business while in Germany, a business venture she continued once she returned to the United States for a total of 8 years. About 2004 Marcia began a career as a real estate broker with Century 21 and later Manning Realty spanning about 4 years, until 2008. She later married on October 12, 2009, to Clyde (Tindle) Lord. Marcia was a devoted mother. She loved her children unconditionally and made many sacrifices for them. She was a woman of faith and maintained a very close relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Left to grieve are her five children - Craig, Melissa, Kevin, Kristee, and David; her mother Sylvia (Louie) Victor; her siblings: Gloria (Vickie) Rodrigues of United Kingdom, Charles (Charlie) Victor of Grenada, James (Jammy) Victor of New York, Magdalene (Ann Marie) Victor of New Jersey, Meredith Victor of Trinidad, Juliana (June) Victor of Grenada, Donnan Victor of Grenada, Lesley Ann Victor of New Jersey, and Arlene Victor of Grenada; Daughter-in-Law Kaela Williamson, grandchildren - Jeremiah, Benjamin, and Mila Williamson; and a host of loving friends and acquaintances.
