Mr. Michael Warren Mitchell

Michael Warren Mitchell, affectionately known as "Mikey" was born on March 24, 1984, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Brady Mitchell and Denise Baccas, Mikey was a light in the lives of all who knew him. He passed away on March 22, 2025, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family. Mikey was raised in both Atlanta, Georgia, and Queens, New York, before eventually making his home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He spent his years working in family businesses, where he built lasting relationships and always had a joke ready to brighten someone's day. He inherited his father's playful, joking personality and his mother's warm and loving heart, making him unforgettable to all who had the joy of knowing him. Above all, Mikey’s greatest joy in life was being a father. He aimed to be the most devoted father to his children, Anessa, LaNaya, Noah, and Josiah, and found purpose and pride in simply loving them and being their dad. He also shared his life with his loving partner, Roseanne, with whom he built cherished memories. Mikey was known as a jokester, never missing an opportunity to bring joy and laughter, even if his humor sometimes pushed the boundaries. His infectious spirit, generosity, and love for his family will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is now reunited in peace with his father, Brady; his brother, Delano; his cousin, Cheree; and his uncle, Paul. Mikey is survived by: his beloved children, Josiah, Noah, LaNaya, and Anessa, who were the greatest joys of his life. He also leaves behind his loving partner, Roseanne, and his devoted mother, Denise. His memory is cherished by: his siblings, Kaila, Christoph, Tomeka, and Darren, as well as his stepmother, Linda, who held a special place in his heart. Mikey’s warmth and love will be deeply missed by his aunts, Pat, Norma, Tina, Betty Rose, and Calvenia; his uncles, Bob, William, and Reginald; and a host of cousins, other aunts, uncles, extended family, and dear friends. Though he is no longer physically with us, his love, laughter, and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
