Ms. Millicent Angelic Ford

Millicent Angelic Ford, affectionately known as “Mill”, was born to the late Bleary and Annie McIntyre Ford in Roberson County, North Carolina. She transitioned into God’s heavenly kingdom on October 26, 2019 at her home. Millicent believed in Jesus Christ and is now reaping the benefits that our risen Savior promised us. Millicent graduated from South Robeson High School in Rowland, North Carolina. She enjoyed spending time with her classmates and participating in activities they were involved in. She continued her education at Robeson Community College in Lumberton, North Carolina by receiving an Early Childhood Education degree. Millicent had a love and passion for children. This fondness for children was evident and reflected through her dedicated employment at King’s Learning Center. She enjoyed working closely with and tending to the needs of children. Being the oldest of three sisters, she may have been the “quiet and shy” one, but Millicent was ready to stand up for herself and also defend her little sisters whenever possible. Her peaceful nature and gentle spirit were just a few characteristics that made people want to be around her. At an early age, Millicent joined Hilly Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Lumberton, North Carolina, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Dunham, where she remained a faithful member until God led her to recently join Caesarea Worship Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where her cousin Dr. Dion Clark serves as senior Pastor. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rev. Dr. Bleary “Jake” and Annie McIntyre Ford. Millicent’s precious memories will forever live on in the lives of her sisters, Tamma Ford of Lumberton, North Carolina and Allis Ford of Greensboro, North Carolina; one musically talented nephew/son, Tarik Ford of Lumberton, North Carolina. She truly was Tarik’s second mother To further cherish her memory, four maternal aunts, Lucille McIntyre Christian (Johnny) of Fairmont, North Carolina, Maggie McIntyre McLean of Lumberton, North Carolina, Patricia McIntyre Blue (James) of Fairmont, North Carolina and Judith Taylor McIntyre of Lumberton, North Carolina; three paternal aunts, Minister Euthenuel Smalls and Brennon McKinley both of Massachusetts, Janie Ford Floyd (Raeford) of Raleigh, North Carolina; two paternal uncles, Ronald Ford, Sr. (Marie) of Marston, North Carolina and Satchuel Ford (Alma) of Durham, North Carolina and a host of other special relatives and friends.
