Mr. Shareek Donquale Taylor

Shareek Donquale Taylor was born to Monica Haynes and Shareef Omar Malik Taylor in Fayetteville, NC, on March 6, 1999. He spent a great deal of his years playing sports throughout school, including basketball, football, and baseball. Shareek was a kind and loving spirit that emanated laughter, pride, grace, and strength in everything he did. He was lovingly called Ree Ree as a kid, and he always kept a smile on his face with his goofy behaviors. He loved to be daring, including getting on the biggest rides at amusement parks, doing backflips in the street, and practicing skateboarding as a young teen. As Shareek grew older, he wanted to be called Reek instead of Ree Ree, hinting at his maturation as a young man and no longer a boy. He graduated with his high school diploma. He transitioned to becoming a young man. He also received his CDL license and worked for Little Mac Moving Company. Shareek was a devoted and proud son, brother, uncle, cousin, and nephew. He loved children and especially dogs of any kind. Shareek was blessed with a large family full of love, care, and honor. He is survived by his parents, Monica and Shareef; two brothers, RaQuon Haynes and Jeremiah Taylor; four sisters, Dejaine Taylor, Aaliyah Davis, Amari Isaac and Zaniyah Hickman; two nieces, Laila Burch and Serenity Isaac, with another niece on the way who will be named Nova; five nephews, Kason Dockery, Xyaire Crowder, Zaiden Taylor, Damari Crowder, and Zion Taylor; aunts including Khalia Hickman-Frank (Andre Frank), Kamilya Smith, Khateefa McDaniel and Jessica Haynes; grandparents; Joyce McDaniel and James McDaniel, cousins; Zoey Frank, Taylar Cherry and Raynee Bedford, along with one best friend Sean Johnson, and a host of many other cousins, family friends, friends, supporters, and other loved ones. . Shareek is preceded in death by his late grandmother Gale Hart and her parents and great-grandmother, Gussie M. Huggins. Also, by his uncle Corey Smith. Though his demise was extremely premature and unexpected, he very clearly left an imprint on those that love him to always cherish even the small moments of every day. To stay driven, to love hard, and to never take life for granted. Shareek is the testament to strength, love, and courage in every sense of the word.
