Gerald V. Fike was born November 9, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. Gerald joined the United States Air Force in 1969 and retired after 26 years of service in 1995. He served a tour in Vietnam and had several stateside assignments as well as tours in Alaska, Hawaii, and England. He is preceded in death by a grandson and a great-grandson. Gerald leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Dolly Fike; two sons; eleven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He also leaves behind many empty spaces in the hearts of all of those that were lucky enough to know him.
