Mrs. Victoria Warren Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vickie, as she was fondly called, was born alongside her twin brother Richard Barnes. During her childhood, Vickie traveled often alongside her family while her father pursued his career in the military. As a child traveling the world, Vickie also had the love and support of her siblings. Vickie was a stellar student while in school, and as a result, she was awarded many recognitions and awards. Vickie was such a bright light that she was often referred to as a “Superstar” by her father. After completing her studies, Vickie became a wife and a mother of three children. As a wife and mother, she once again traveled the world as the wife of a military service member. Vickie was a dedicated employee when she worked in the hospitality and food service fields. After her working days were behind her, to keep busy, Vickie enjoyed riding public transportation to take care of business, going to the library, shopping at Walmart, eating a biscuit at Hardee’s, and conversing with anyone she met along the way. Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Bennie O’Neal Barnes, and four siblings (Master Ronald Barnes, Master Donald Barnes, Mrs. Audrey Denson, and Mr. Richard Barnes). On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 at her home where she resided with her loving family, God called Vickie to her eternal home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Those left behind to cherish her memory include: son, Charles Williams, daughter Meagan (Frederick) Gorham, son, Harris Williams, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, mother Bobbie Jean Barnes, sister Veronica (Donnaver) West, brother, Bobby (Monique) Barnes, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
