Eldress Annie Lee McKoy

Eldress Annie Lee Kemp-McKoy was born on April 24, 1939 in Raeford, North Carolina to the late Walter L. Kemp and Everleen Johnson. As a child she gave her life to God, as she said- "I was saved in the womb." She belonged to God. She attended churches and she also attended school in Raeford, NC. As an adult she went back to school where she received her diploma, she was also certified in nursing on March 10, 1988. She gave her life to God at an early age. She wanted to preach and teach the people. She moved from Raeford to Fayetteville, NC where she was introduced to Rev. Avery and Mother Avery. Annie started to attend First Pentecostal FWB Church where she was baptized and was ordain as a preacher. She served the church with gratitude and praises. She received her preacher license from North Carolina and First Pentecostal FWB Church on November 28, 1982 She also received her credential license from the United American Free Will Baptist Church, which certifies her a worthy member of Cape Fear B Conference She was authorized to preach the gospel on November 27, 1994. So was awarded the articles of war.. a soldier covenant where she gotten membership as a soldier of the salvation Army. She was proud to be part of God Army. She received the certification of achievement award for leadership. She served with the salvation army for 19 years until her death. She received so many awards, too many to list. She loved God. Her biggest achievement in life was when she gave birth to her children, she birthed four boys and seven girls. She was an excellent mother. She kept her kids together, time was very hard, many nights she cried in silence, but she waited and trusted God. She was described as a good mother and a God-fearing woman. She was a strong woman, a woman with a big heart. God has truly gave her a wonderful and purposeful and meaningful life, she had the privilege to come in present of the Lord his had was upon her life. That's why Satan couldn't touch or destroy her. She was chosen by the Almighty God. All things has worked in her favor because she loved God and stayed faithful and true to him. Elder Annie Lee Kemp- McKoy was preceded in death by: Son - Tyrone Kemp Son- John G. McKoy Husband - John B. McKoy father - Walter Lee Kemp mother Eveleen Johnson Grand mother - Mandy Johnson Brother - Sonny Boy Kemp Brother - James Kemp Brother - Benjamin Kemp Smith Sister - Jennie Ree Kemp Smith Grand Son - Minister Michael T. Mckoy Grand son- Robert Lee McKoy Grand son- Marcus G. Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Charles E Kemp (Colleen) Mandy McKoy Annie Mason (Ronald) Mary Johnson Brenda Howley (Jason) Tammie McKoy Malcolm McKoy Closet grandchild (Breona Mckoy, Nina and Georgia) 24 grandchildren 24 great great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild Lola Kemp- Sister-in-law and a host of family and friends.
